Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sexually assaulted a woman in a doorway in Gloucester earlier this week.
On Wednesday (21 September) between 4.40pm and 4.45pm a man approached a woman from behind and sexually touched her without her consent.
The incident took place in a doorway on Upper Quay Street, the man then walked off in the direction of the city.
He was described as being aged in his mid 40s, South Asian, 5ft 8ins tall, had black hair spiked up, of a medium build and spoke in a foreign language.
The man was wearing black trousers, a pale blue shirt with white vertical stripes and a black cross-body satchel.
Officers investigating are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or the man in the area around the time to contact them.
