A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a collision on the A4019 Tewkesbury Road in Cheltenham last night, Friday 25 March, and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened around 9.20pm when a man was struck by a vehicle in the Uckington area.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or anyone who has dashcam footage, to make contact with police.
It is believed that several motorists were in the area at time of the collision and officers are keen to hear from them.
The man, aged 23, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by paramedics and he remains there in a serious condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and he was uninjured.
Overnight closures had been put in place on the M5 junction 10 southbound exit slip road and the A4019 Tewkesbury Road in both directions between Withybridge Lane and the B4634 in Cheltenham. These have since been removed and the roads are open.
