Officers in Cheltenham are appealing for anybody who may have helped or interacted with a man following an injury earlier this year.
On the evening of Saturday 29 January, a man in a wheelchair was out in Cheltenham town centre and suffered significant leg injuries as a result of either an accident or assault.
The victim believed he could have had his drink spiked on the night and reported the incident to police at the end of February.
Police have since conducted enquires and are now appealing for witnesses.
Officers are asking anyone who may have helped the man or witnessed any activity that could relate to the man and his injury to get in touch.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police by completing the following online form and quoting incident number 217 of 28 of February: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
