A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision on the A38 near Norton this afternoon and police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The incident happened at around 1.40pm today, Saturday 28 January, and involved a motorcycle and a Citroen Berlingo van.
Emergency services responded to the collision which happened between the Bishop's Norton turn-off and Down Hatherley Lane.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance. He remains there with serious injuries.
The road is currently closed while police are still at the scene.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has information which could assist them. Police are also keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area and has dashcam footage relating to the incident.
