A man died following a two-vehicle collision in Cheltenham last night (Tuesday 3 October).
The incident happened at the A4019 Tewkesbury Road crossroads with Brook Road at around 7.40pm.
The man, aged in his 50s, was riding a motorbike that was in collision with a Honda Civic.
He was attended to by members of the public and the ambulance service but was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The man's next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed to allow for a full collision investigation to take place.
It remains closed at this time and is likely to still be closed during rush hour.
Motorists are asked to continue to follow diversions.
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody at this time.
