Man charged with driving offences following pursuit in Cheltenham

A man is due to appear at court today (Monday) after being charged with a number of driving offences.

Ashley Moore, 28 and of Gatehouse Way in Bristol was arrested by Specialist Operations officers during the early hours of Saturday morning (2 January) before being charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and criminal damage.

The charges relate to a pursuit which took place in Cheltenham.

Moore has been remanded in custody and will be appearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court via video link.
