Man arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure incidents in Cheltenham

A man has been arrested in connection with numerous reports of indecent exposure in Cheltenham today, Friday 14 May.
Shortly before 4.30pm police were called with a report a man had been seen walking in the area of Telstar Way and was exposing himself.
Officers attended and searched for him but he was not located, however a short while later police received a similar report that a man was exposing himself in Benhall Park.
A member of the public detained the man and he was subsequently arrested by officers on suspicion of indecent exposure.
A 40-year-old man from Cheltenham remains in police custody for questioning in connection with the incidents.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who has relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage to contact them.
Investigating officers are also keen to hear from anyone else who may have seen a similar incident today.
