A man has been arrested following an armed deployment in Gloucester this morning, Sunday 3 October.
Police were called to Gloucester Railway Station shortly after 8.55am following a report that a man had made threats to harm another person.
Armed officers attended the train station and searched the area but the man was not located.
Officers then attended a property on Ince Castle Way following further enquiries where the man was located and detained.
The 29-year-old was subsequently arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
Searches will now be taking place at the address and police would like to reassure local residents that this was an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.
