An 18-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision on the A40 Golden Valley Bypass last night, Friday 30 September, and police are appealing for information.
Shortly after 11pm police responded to a report a car had collided with a stationary heavy-goods vehicle parked in a layby.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway between the A417 (Elmbridge Court roundabout, Gloucester) and M5 junction 11 (Cheltenham).
It involved a white BMW 1 Series and a DAF truck.
The single occupant of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
