A man has died following a single-vehicle collision between Dursley and Kingscote this evening (Wednesday 14 June).
It happened on the A4135 Whiteway at about 5pm and involved a motorcycle which had left the road.
The ambulance service attended the incident but the rider was pronounced dead a short time later.
Road closures are in place and may still be in place tomorrow morning (Thursday 15 June), while a serious collision investigation continues at the scene.
