Family members have paid tribute to a man who died in hospital following a collision in Forthampton near Tewkesbury last month.
Stewart Sellwood was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after a collision with a car while out cycling on Wednesday 21 July.
His family said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must confirm that it was our Stewart Sellwood who tragically lost his life on Tuesday 27 July.
"He was a man that would drop anything to help others, worked hard and lived life to the full. He was a loving husband to Pauline, proud dad of David, loyal son and brother, generous step-dad to Danielle, Kerry and Nicole, immensely proud 'Pops' to his granddaughters Imogen and Olivia and 'Uncle Stew' to George, Iona, Charlie and Monty.
"We will all remember the kind, caring, funny and larger than life gentleman he was. He has left a massive hole in many hearts and will be sorely missed by his extended family, friends, colleagues and many other people in the community who knew him.
"We also wish to thank you all for the kind messages of love and support we have received at this extremely difficult time."
