Police are appealing for information after a dog was struck by a car and died in Cirencester last week.
The incident happened on Wednesday 8 November at around 5.10pm on the A417 Grove Lane near to the Norman Arch Gate House entrance for the Abbey Grounds.
The dog had been on a lead at the time and the driver did not stop at the scene.
There was traffic in the area and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened, has dashcam footage or any other information which could assist with enquiries.
