Police have been granted a court extension to continue questioning a man arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 38-year-old from Gloucester will now remain in police custody for an additional 36 hours.
The 42-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident was released under investigation overnight to allow for further enquiries to take place
The arrests relate to the death of a man from Gloucester which is being treated as suspicious.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and scene guards will remain in place today, Sunday 3 October.
Investigating officers are still appealing for information in connection with the incident and anyone who may be able to assist is asked to contact police.
