Police have released CCTV footage of a man who is being treated as a witness and may have information which could assist officers.
It is understood that the man pictured had a conversation with the suspect after an incident had taken place inside a Gloucester pub.
The incident happened at Northend Vaults on Northgate Street, on Saturday 15 October at around 7.50pm.
It was reported that a man had bitten off part of a woman's finger. The woman, in her 50s and from Gloucester, later had surgery.
Police appealed for information after the incident last year, and have now released CCTV footage in a bid to identify the potential witness.
