Officers made two arrests yesterday morning (Thursday 25 May) after executing a drugs warrant in Cirencester.
The warrant, executed by officers from the Cotswold and Stroud Vanguard team, took place a property in the Ampney Crucis area after information had been submitted from the public about suspected drug dealing.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of £72,000, cannabis with an estimated street value of over £8,000, a large amount of cash and drugs paraphernalia were found within the property after searches were conducted by Operation Vanguard officers.
A 30-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both from Cirencester, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply both class A and B drugs.
Nathan Woodward, 30 and of School Lane in Cirencester, has since been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs namely cocaine; possession with intent to supply class B drugs namely cannabis; possessing criminal property; and possession of a weapon namely an electrical incapacitation device.
He is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today, Friday 26 May.
The woman who was also arrested has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
