Arrest in connection with sexual assault at Pittville Park

An arrest has been made in connection with the sexual assault at Pittville Park which was reported earlier today (Saturday)

A 26-year-old man from Cheltenham has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody at this time.

Officers are continuing to conduct enquiries at the park and the scene guard will remain in place until this has finished.
