An arrest has been made in connection with an incident where sexual comments were made towards two teenage girls in Stroud in March.
A man from Stroud was arrested last week after information was submitted by the public following an appeal for witnesses.
He was arrested on suspicion of inciting sexual activity with a child and has been since been released on bail with conditions.
The conditions prohibit him from having any unsupervised contact, either directly or indirectly, with any child under the age of 18. A breach of the condition could lead to him being re-arrested.
The arrest relates to an incident where two teenage girls sitting on a bench in Stroud were approached by an unknown man who made comments of a sexual nature and offered them a pile of money.
The incident took place at around 4.55pm on Thursday 24 March.
