Police are hoping to reunite a sapphire and diamond ring that could be of sentimental value to its owner.
It was among jewellery found in the possession of a convicted burglar who was arrested in Cirencester on 28 July this year.
The 28-year-old man had attempted burglaries in Cheltenham and Cirencester on the day of his arrest.
Officers have traced the owners of all the jewellery they seized, except the ring which has never been claimed.
If you believe it is yours, or know who it might belong to, please contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website quoting incident 264 of 28 July: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
Officers will be looking for proof of ownership so please provide evidence such as photos, receipts or an incident number if you have previously reported the ring as stolen.
