Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Gloucester yesterday, Tuesday 5 May, that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
At around 10.20pm the large motorcycle had travelled on Westgate Street, heading towards Westgate Island, when it struck a low wall.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services attended the single vehicle collision.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s and from Cheltenham, was taken to hospital and remains there receiving treatment for his injuries.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw the motorcycle being ridden through the Gloucester area or who witnessed the collision to contact police on 101 quoting incident 486 of 5 May.
