Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in the Matson area of Gloucester yesterday afternoon (Monday).
Police were called to Baneberry Road at the junction of Woodruff Close at 6.10pm following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and car.
The pedestrian was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries and the road was closed for a number of hours whilst a collision investigation took place.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or has dashcam/CCTV footage to get in contact.
