Officers in Cheltenham are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
The robbery is believed to have taken place at around 2am and saw one man and two women being attacked by a group of three people.
The victims walked along Gloucester Place travelling in the direction away from the town centre whilst being followed by the group which also consisted of one man and two women.
They carried along Sherborne Street which is where the two female victims were assaulted in the play area.
Whilst this took place, the male victim was chased away from the play area and towards Albert Place where he was assaulted and had his backpack taken.
The offenders are described as follows:
1) a white man in his early 20s who was around 6ft 2ins and of a proportionate build. He had blonde hair which was long on top and short at the back and sides and was cleanly shaven. He was wearing a dark brown waterproof jacket and dark coloured skinny jeans.
2) a white woman in her early 20s who was around 5ft 6ins and of a large build. She had blonde hair tied in a bun and was wearing a grey jacket and dark coloured jeans.
3) a second white woman who was also in her early 20s, around 5ft 6ins and of a large build. She had light brown shoulder length hair, scarring on her face and was wearing a long light brown coat and blue jeans.
