Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed in Cheltenham earlier this month.
Police were called to Swindon Road on Monday 16 August after a woman reported being beaten and robbed by an unknown man. This took place at around 8pm and she was not badly injured.
Officers conducted enquiries after CCTV footage came to light and a man was arrested in connection with the incident before being charged.
Nathan Hayward, 29 and of no fixed abode was charged with robbery and has been remanded in custody to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 30 August.
Despite the arrest and charge, investigating officers still need anyone who witnessed this taking place and hasn't already spoken to police to please come forward.
