Officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident of dangerous driving in Cheltenham at the weekend.
Police were called to Hyde Lane in Swindon Village at around 10.25am on Sunday morning following reports that a White Kia Sportage with the number plate VN68 DNU was being driven in a dangerous manner.
It was reported that the driver was overtaking on double white lines and also overtook at speed whilst on a bridge.
Police were called minutes later where it was reported that the occupants had smashed the windows of a house on Alstone Lane before driving off and crashing close to the Shell Garage on Gloucester Road.
The occupants of the car, two men and a woman, were located and arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle before being released under investigation.
The car was later found to have been taken without the owner’s consent.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, the car being driven between 9am and 11am or who has dashcam footage to please contact police quoting incident 119 of 11 April.
