Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained injuries in a collision on the A38 north of Norton yesterday, Thursday 21 April.
Police were called shortly after 4.40pm with a report of a collision involving a motorbike and van between Norton and Coombe Hill.
The collision involved a blue Suzuki GSX-1000 motorbike and white Ford transit van.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man from the Forest of Dean, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. His injuries include a broken arm and ribs and he remains in hospital. The driver of the van was uninjured.
Road closures were put in place while a collision investigation took place and these were reopened around 10.30pm last night.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage.
