Officers in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted last night, Tuesday 29 June.
Police were called to the Baker Street Pub on Southgate Street at 11.05pm with a report that a man had been assaulted.
It was reported that the man had been punched following an altercation outside the pub. He sustained a wound to his head and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital before being treated and discharged.
The offender had left before officers arrived but was described as being of a stocky build and was wearing a baby blue shirt.
Investigating officers have conducted CCTV enquiries and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
