Officers in Tewkesbury are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted and threatened over the weekend.
Police were called to Link Road at around 10pm on Sunday (12 May) with a report that a man had been threatened and assaulted by two youths.
It was stated that the man was walking down the road when the youths approached him and made threats to stab him.
The victim was then repeatedly kicked and punched in the face before being thrown into the road.
He sustained facial injuries, including a broken nose and swelling, which required treatment at hospital.
Investigating officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage but would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident taking place.
In particular they would like to speak to a number of people who were in the area as it is believed they may be able to assist with the investigation.
