Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Gloucester yesterday, Wednesday 17 November, after an elderly man sustained serious injuries.
At around 5.55pm there was a collision on Tuffley Lane which involved a Renault Kangoo van, which was being driven by a man aged in his 40s, and a 74-year-old pedestrian.
The elderly man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. He remains there in a serious condition today, Thursday 18 November.
The van driver was uninjured.
Closures were put in place while a collision investigation took place and police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who has dashcam footage, to contact them.
