Officers are appealing for witnesses after a Porsche was stolen from a house in Cheltenham and a man was arrested yesterday (Thursday).
Police were contacted at around 4pm after a homeowner had returned from work to find that their house in St Peters had been broken into and their silver Boxster soft top was no longer on the drive.
It was also reported that a number of items had also been stolen from within the property.
Officers from the Local Policing Team began patrolling the surrounding area when they spotted the car unoccupied and parked up on Scholars Court.
A 39-year-old man, from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of dwelling burglary as it was believed he had been involved.
He remains in custody for questioning this morning (Friday).
The car was recovered for a forensic examination and will be returned to the owner in due course.
Officers are also asking anyone who saw the car being driven in the Gloucester Road area or elsewhere within Cheltenham to please get in contact.
