Roads Policing officers are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Cheltenham yesterday (Thursday) which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
Police were called to Evesham Road in the town shortly after 12.20pm following a report of a collision which involved a pedestrian and red Nissan Qashqai.
The collision took place at the traffic lights for the junction of Wellington Road, Evesham Road and Wellington Square.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment to her injuries where she remains at this time.
Officers investigating the collision are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam/CCTV footage, and has not already spoken to police to come forward.
