Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Gloucester last Thursday (5 August) which involved a pedestrian and a car.
At approximately 7.45am a woman was walking across the road at the pedestrian crossing on Stroud Road, close to the junction with Seymour Road, when she was hit by a black Vauxhall Mokka.
The woman who was driving the car got out to check on the pedestrian and then drove her the short distance to her work.
When the pedestrian got to her workplace an ambulance was called and she required emergency surgery for a broken knee.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage.
