The Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is appealing for witnesses after a man was bitten by a dog last month.
It was reported that the victim was walking in a playing field attached to Churchdown skate park when he was approached by a loose dog which bit him on the leg and stomach.
This took place at around 9.15am on Wednesday 26 May and the dog was described as being brown/ginger in colour and two feet in size.
The victim explained how the dog came running at him from around 50 metres away before violently barking and jumping up with the owner taking no action to stop this.
The owner shouted abuse at the man and continued walking after the incident so her identity remains unknown.
She was described as being white, in her mid-thirties, around 5ft tall with straight blonde hair. She had rimless glasses and was wearing blue jeans with light brown boots.
