Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man punched another man in Cirencester earlier this month.
Police were called to Farrell Close at around 12.40am on Sunday 10 December with a report of an assault outside Fora Coffee.
It was reported that a man punched the victim in the face and he sustained injuries which required treatment at Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
A 26-year-old man from Cirencester was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in connection with the incident and later released on police bail.
Despite the arrest, investigating officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to police to make contact.
As well as this, officers would like to hear from anyone who may have filmed the incident on their mobile phone or have dashcam or CCTV footage.
