Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Cainscross Road, Stroud yesterday (Tuesday 17 March).
The collision happened near to Homebase at about 4.05pm and involved a lorry and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local woman in her 60s, was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol with serious injuries.
The road was closed whilst a full collision investigation took place and was reopened shortly before 10pm.
The driver was not physically injured though shocked by the incident.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage but hasn’t yet spoken to police, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 245 of 17 March.
Officers would like thank the members of the public who were at the incident for their help and understanding.
