Officers are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place at a shop in Gloucester on Tuesday evening (31 December).
Police were called to Co-op Food on Longford Lane at 11.55pm following reports of a burglary.
It was reported that a group of men had forced entry to the premises before stealing a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol from inside.
The offenders, who are believed to have left the area in a small car were described as follows:
1) A white man of medium to large build who was wearing a black beanie hat with a symbol on the front, black gloves which had a yellow star logo, a long sleeve black fleece, grey sleeveless puffer jacket, black trousers and black shoes. He had a grey face covering and was carrying a white bag which had blue writing.
2) A white man of medium build who was wearing dark blue trousers, a black coat with the hood up, a black cap, dark socks and black shoes.
3) A white man who was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black coat, black beanie hat with a bobble and pattern on the top half, a black scarf and sand coloured shoes with an orange symbol on the back. He was also wearing grey gloves.
A fourth man is also believed to have been involved in the burglary but his description is unknown at this time.
