Appeal for witnesses after boats are damaged in Gloucester

We're appealing for witnesses after damage was caused to boats moored in the Hempsted area of Gloucester.
At around 6.30am this morning (20 April), an unknown young man is believed to have cut the ropes of three boats along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal which runs parallel to Quayside Way.
The boats were then left adrift on the canal causing damage and had to later be recovered by colleagues from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
