Police in Gloucester are appealing for information and to locate stolen items following a burglary at St James Church last month.
Officers were contacted on the evening of Saturday 31 July where it was reported that a burglary had taken place at the church on Upton Street between 6pm on Wednesday 29 July and 6.15pm that evening.
It was reported that unknown offenders had entered the church through the back vestry door before stealing a number of items including silverware and a quantity of cash from a safe.
Investigating officers are now appealing for potential witnesses as well as anyone who has located the stolen items since the incident.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the above timeframes or who has been offered any of the stolen items for sale is asked to please get in contact.
