Officers are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was bitten by a dog in Gloucester on Boxing Day.
It was reported that a teenage girl was walking along Coney Hill Road at around 3pm whilst a female was walking her two dogs behind her.
One of the dogs ran and jumped up at the girl before biting the back of her right thigh causing puncture wounds.
The owner continued walking after the incident and the victim was unable to get her to stop
The owner was described as being a white woman in her 50s who was wearing blue knee length parka coat with the hood up. She was walking one white and one dark coloured dog at the time.
