A man died in a two-vehicle collision in Berkeley yesterday afternoon, Friday 17 June, and police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm at the B4066 junction with Saniger Lane, towards Sharpness Docks, and involved a Honda motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer motor caravan.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s and from the local area, was found to have sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
Road closures were put in place for several hours while emergency services were at the scene and a collision investigation took place. These were removed last night.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage is asked to make contact with police.
