A 78-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries after falling from her bike and police are appealing for information to establish how the incident happened.
At about 4.30pm on Thursday (16 April) officers were called to a single track lane near New House Farm in Stanton, Broadway where the woman had been found.
She was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham where she is still being treated and said to be in a serious condition.
Officers wold like to hear from anyone who saw the woman riding her black Whirlwind e-bike between the parish church and where she was found, or any other vehicles in the area at about the same time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary quoting incident 339 of 16 April.
