Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze. No one was injured.
The cause has been deemed suspicious and police are treating the incident as arson.
Two boys and a girl, described as being aged between 12 and 15 and wearing dark clothing, were witnessed running from the direction of the farmland where the derelict building was situated and across the park opposite towards Fiddlers Green Lane.
