Appeal after memorial trees were damaged in Cheltenham

Police in Cheltenham are appealing for information after a number of memorial trees were damaged across the town.
Since May a total of seven trees have been damaged and details of the dates and locations are below:
30 May- Lansdown Road
3 July- Imperial Square
27 August- Imperial Square and Pittville Lawn
1 September- Montpellier roundabout
8 September- Pittville Lawn
20 September- Up Hatherley Way
The trees were planted to commemorate 100 years of the Rotary Club in the town and many are memorial trees sponsored by families which has caused distress.
Investigating officers do not know if the trees were damaged by the same people and are appealing for information from the public to help establish what happened.
