A man lost consciousness and another was concussed after a violent incident in Eastgate Street, Gloucester earlier this month.
It started outside the Doctors pub shortly before 11.15pm on Saturday 16 July and continued in the alleyway between Mecca Bingo and the site of the old Argos.
Two men were attacked by the offender, who punched one victim, causing him to lose consciousness for a few minutes, then punched the other man while he was attending to his friend, causing concussion and a lump to the side of his face. A third man was then punched and pushed.
Another man was also pushed against a shop window during the incident.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the incident but there was a substantial crowd present when the assaults happened and officers are asking anyone who was there but hasn't spoken to police to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to provide this to us online by completing the following form and quoting incident 539 of 16 July: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/.../a-crime-that.../
