Police are appealing for information after a disorder on Eastgate Street in Gloucester last week.
The incident happened at around 12.30am on Thursday 19 October outside of A Star Taxi's and involved a group of men.
A 31-year-old man sustained injuries, including lacerations to his head, hand and leg, and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. He was subsequently released from hospital following treatment.
Investigating officers are now keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed what took place or may have filmed it on their mobile phone.

At this stage no arrests have been made and detectives are pursuing a number of enquiries such as through witnesses and CCTV.
