A man has died following a collision in Westbury last night (Monday 13 June) and police are appealing for witnesses.
Police were called at 12.30am with a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Ford Transit van on the A48 in Westbury-on-Severn.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 41-year-old man from the Forest of Dean, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
The occupants of the van were not believed to be injured.
Officers investigating the collision are keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 14 of 13 June.
