Cheltenham man faces arrest following harassment of town representatives

A Cheltenham man has been warned that he faces arrest after harassing political representatives in the town.

James Greenway, aged 45, has been handed an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction as a result of his behaviour.

The injunction was granted by Gloucester and Cheltenham County Court earlier this month.

Greenway had been making threats to people in the town, including members of the Liberal Democrat party.

The Civil Injunction, which runs for a year until 10 May 2024, forbids Greenway from:

1. Engaging in conduct that causes or is likely to cause alarm or harassment or distress to any person within the boundary of Cheltenham;
2. Using or threatening to use violence towards any person within the boundary of Cheltenham;
3. Contacting, either directly or indirectly, any Liberal Democrat representative or go to the Cheltenham Liberal Democrats Office in Cheltenham, at any time.

Greenway can be arrested if he breaches any part of the injunction.
