A man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his wife in Cheltenham last year (2024).
Charles Graham, aged 78 and of Fairfield Road in Cheltenham, appeared at Bristol Crown Court this afternoon (Thursday 13 February) where he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 67-year-old Davinia Graham.
Emergency services had been called to a property on Fairfield Road in Cheltenham at around 3.30am on Saturday 31 August with a report that a woman had been seriously injured.
Davinia, known to friends as Dee, was declared dead at the scene.
Graham was arrested at the scene and charged following an investigation by the Major Crime Investigation Team.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday 6 March.
