Police are appealing for witnesses after a group of teenagers caused damage to a Gloucester shop while intimidating customers and abusing staff yesterday, Wednesday 16 April.
Officers received a report that around 10 youths, aged between 14 and 17, had smashed a window at a shop in Seventh Avenue, Tuffley at around 8.50am.
They then attempted to damage a chilled display unit and began intimidating customers.
They then went into a neighbouring shop where they prevented customers from entering. When they were challenged by staff, they became racially abusive.
Officers have spoken to staff at the shop and are examining CCTV. They are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 89 of 16 April.
