A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a suspected stabbing in Gloucester earlier this week.
Daniel Mann, of Leominster Road, Dymock in the Forest of Dean has been charged with three alleged offences.
He was charged yesterday (Wednesday 25 December) with common assault, section 18 wounding with intent and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
Mann has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today (Thursday 26 December).
The charges relate to an incident at an address on Cromwell Street in the early hours of Tuesday (24 December).
Police had been called to the location at around 1.40am after a man aged in his 40s sustained several wounds. He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
Investigating officers are still keen to hear from anyone who lives in the surrounding area who has CCTV or doorbell footage which shows anyone in the area either before or after the incident.
Those with cameras are asked to review their footage between the times of 1.25am and 3.10am.
Anyone with information or footage is asked to provide this to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 34 of 24 December: How to tell us about an existing case or report | Gloucestershire Constabulary
