Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following a serious assault by unknown offenders in Gloucester Park in the early hours of the morning.

Police and paramedics attended the Park at 12.35am  where three men had been assaulted and suffered serious head and face injuries.  Two were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and one to Southmead Hospital with a serious eye injury.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in Gloucester Park around 12am this morning.    It’s thought that the offenders may have left the scene in a VW transporter van.  One witness reported hearing shouting and screaming by the bandstand area.

A police scene guard remains while the forensic team carry out their investigations.  We would like to thank the public for their patience while this work continues.

Please call 101 quoting incident number 19 of 14 April 2018 if you witnessed this incident or can help police with their enquiries. You can also give information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
