Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to a collision which happened on the A4136 between Nailbridge and Brierley.

At around 11.30am today, Wednesday 15 November, a blue Fiat Panda left the road and came to a stop on a slight embankment. Firefighters freed the female driver from the vehicle and she was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after sustaining a serious leg injury.

Officers are keen to speak to a woman who was travelling in a red vehicle who they believe may have witnessed the incident.
